Review: The Real Sketh of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ)

Atasha Umar Batool

This book is an enlightening and comprehensive insight into the true spirit and the wholesome character of THE SEAL OF PROPHETHOOD, Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). It roots from the Holy Quran and Sunnah. It reflects on as to why is he  rightly entitled a Kamal Momin (True and Complete Believer) and Rahmat Allilalaameen (Mercy for all the Universes). It is the best and timely response to all those who are so intrigued by the holy dimensions of his spirit and life that rather than being open and receptive to his being, they start to malign his sacred name.(May ALLAH Forbid).

It is a page turner and a com pulsive read, leading to positive food for thought, for positive transformation in these trying times, in this chaotic and restless world. It is infact a beautiful gift for all who want to know about the true persona of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ).

It is divided into 63 (sixty three) modernate sections, all of which portray 63 different attributes of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). From his sacred appearance to his way of living, it completely covers almost all areas of his being.

We come to know that he  was “miraculously created, through the special grace of the Lord Almighty (Allah S.W.T)”. Having an Arab noble lineage (Quraish: Hashmi) with Arab beduins around him , his  being has been a source of inspiration throughout, for all times and places, (God Willing).

Whoever wants to transform his life from negative to positive, should get to know him  as he  was “Quran Incrarnate.” His  personality outshines all other personalities of the world. He  said “I am the last of all prophets and no other prophet or messenger would be raised after me.”

He  further explained that “The Divine process of raising the messengers has been completed and stopped with my raising.” The Quran testifies his  being as “Seal of the Prophets.” This book reveals the fact that his  whole life shows his  love, peace and harmony to all the mankind, regardless of their race, creed or conviction.

So much so that his  enemies became his  friends, over time. This was and is, all due to his  gentle, kind, forgiving and generous nature that the unkind became kind, the rude became gentle, the ruthless became forgiving and the stingy became generous (God Willing).

The book fortrays different facets of his  being and his  talks, advises etc given to his  com panions صحابہ کرامؓ at different occasions e.g emphasizing on the importance of praying he once said, “Do not ever abandon prayer Do not ever abancon prayer Do not ever abandon prayer And fear God Almighty in your treatment of those under your control.” All the traits of Islam were/are seen in the Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ).

He  had love, mercy, compassion, kindness, liberalism, tolerance, benevolence, forgiveness, forbearance, alturism, charity, peace, moderation etc in him, Maashaa Allah, Laa Quwaataa Illa Billaa Hil Aliyil Azeem.

The book gives us the true taste of his  personality by touching upon his  sense of facilitating ease, having moderation, tolerance, patience gentleness, leniency, his  generous hospitality and his  behaviour with his enemies when he  won them over, depicting true grace and everlasting lessons for all mankind, true to all times and places.

The book also provides authentic evidences which clearly defines Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) as the most dignified, the possessor of a soft personality, the most truthful and honest, bearing the highest moral character, the most humble and gentle. He was genuinely the ambassador

of peace, the emancipator of slaves, the protector of refugees, the most caring for the weak, the widows and orphans. He  was the most respectful for others, for all kind of creations, Subhaan Allah.

The book especially addresses to all those aspects which prove him  to be nonviolent even towards his enemies, he had all the attributes which would make his opposers turn into his best friends (God Willing). He was indeed the ambassador of interfaith harmony, the most respectful to others faiths, the remover of enmity and hatred, the greatest forgiver, the rejecter of revenge , the controller of anger, the most merciful towards sinners.

In todays times we all need to learn from his  life and try to deal with situations, with wisdom and forsightedness. We see him as the founder of the first constitution, the great manager, the encourager of cooperation in goodness, the best in handling criticism, the opposer of anti-semitism and the protector of non-muslims. The book is in equivalence with his dignified status and attributes. Just as the taste of pudding is in the eating, the real sweetness of the book will be experienced by reading it, In Shaa Allah.

Read it yourself, gift it to your friends and families. This book is also befitting for being added in the compulsory syllabus of college, university students, who keep looking for iconic figures in outerspaces. Here is the sweetest iconic figure to follow, that has ever lived on earth: Hazrat Muhammad (SAW)

May Allah (S.W.T) accept this act of devotion and true love for Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) from Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri: the writer. May ALLAH (S.W.T) keep on enlightening us all with Dr. Sahibs “God Gifted” understanding and farsightedness. May Allah bless him (Dr. Saheb) and his family for all their sincere efforts, in both the worlds. Aameen.
